Chapter 5 - An Airport Full Of SCreaming Girls

Eventually our parents found Zac and I curled up under the bed, fast asleep.

They coaxed us out and we set to work packing up my room. Starting with the posters. (AN: *L* (Refer back to Chapter 4 if you don't know what I'm talking about.))

After approximately two and a half hours we managed to get everything into boxes and outside into the U-Haul that we had rented.

I bid a teary farewell to the people I had lived with for the first 12 years of my life.

We drove to the airport and instead of going to the departures like I thought we would, we went down some back round and after passing through what seemed like a million security checks, we drove into a relatively small parking lot (for an airport) and parked the car.

A very bulky security guard greeted us and escorted us through a long maze of tunnels and passage ways. I wondered if our luggage would make it onto the plane and Zac alleviated my fears by telling me that airport attendants were putting our luggage on the plane right this very moment.

The security guard then opened a door right onto the boarding hallway. We stepped out, and then a massive roar could be heard. I looked back into the waiting area and saw a very large mass of screaming girls. Zac grabbed my hand and pulled me down the hall to keep me from staring. I kept walking, taking a look over my shoulder every few steps. When Zac stepped into the hall, the girls screamed even louder. When he grabbed my hand, they started to scream even louder. By this point I couldnt hear a thing they were screaming so loud.

We finally got on the plane, the stewardess shut the door behind us. This abruptly cut off the noise of the screaming girls. I looked around, noticing that we had the seats that were the closest to the front, which were first class. Ive never flown first class before. I noticed that we were the last people to get on the plane and that people were staring at us. We safely stowed our bags in the overhead compartment and sat down. We did up our seatbelts as the stewardess started the safety video commentary.

The plane taxied down the runway and took off. I looked out the window and wondered what lay ahead.
